Service excellence has also grown to include environmental responsibility.
At Thunderbird we are fully committed to protecting the environment. Our certification from the Forest Stewardship Council adds us as a link in the organization that is creating standards for the responsible management of the world’s forests. We operate under an environmental management plan that has been certified by CleanPrint BC, recycling items such as waste paper, printing plates, pressroom chemistries and by using vegetable based inks and recycled paper where possible. We are continually looking to find new ways to manufacture responsibly to produce each job with as small an ecological footprint as possible. We actively recycle all paper, plastic and metal waste; and have recently instituted a recycling plan for our paper rags and solvent waste.
